The Equinunk Historical Society, 1972 Pine Mill Rd. in the heart of Equinunk, traditionally begins its summer program season by honoring a local veteran on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend . This year's honoree is Equinunk's Robert Wood. A well-know historian, Bob is crew chief of the "Brotherhood of the Mill" who volunteer at the historic Joel Hill Sawmill. He is a former president of EHS, several times over, in fact.
